I have a lite hybrid car (Volvo XC60) and even I am nervous about the electrical system. My wife loves Volvos and I wanted a Chevy Silverado (gasoline). Guess who won??

When an EV is in an accident, if the battery gets hit (side impacts are the big problem) it’s totaled. Battery is history even if it doesn’t blow up.

Beware of someone/some entity that trys to sell you something, which must act on it in a hurry. “Climate crisis”, they say, yet they fly in private jets and live in mansions.
“Only a decade until we are under water”.
I am not against electric cars or phasing out coal, but why the rush? The rush is so profits can be made short term, without realistically analyzing and addressing the “alleged problem”.
