I don’t hail cabs. The last one I was in a decade ago was filthy, stinky, had belly dancing music blaring and the driver could barely speak English. I’ve found alternative modes of transportation for those few times I don’t have my own vehicle, so not going back, even if they’re driverless.

Robot-operated Chevy Bolt EVs will be rolled out over the next few weeks by autonomous vehicle maker Cruise. The San Francisco company, owned by General Motors, wouldn’t say how many. With a permit from the California Public Utilities Commission, Cruise becomes the first commercial robotaxi business in the state and the second in the U.S.

—”This is a lawyers dream, for lawsuits after crashes.”

Why should attorneys be entitled to a lion’s share of others’ misfortune?

Because they control the majority of our legislatures?
How convenient.

Yes, many attorneys do a fine and necessary job, but also some obvious parasites.

Pls, let me know when a fleet of FSD autos equals the damage of Adam Schiff Esq.

I like it!

Here is a longer ride on Waymo and still no fender benders, nothing.

From the article; “Today is also exactly one year since my first ride, the first driverless ride in a major US city.”

“Cruise self-driving cars have been in nine hit-and-run accidents this year in San Francisco.

And a couple of patterns from these collisions may surprise you.

Almost all nine of Cruise’s 2022 self-driving accidents have led to the collision’s human driver fleeing the area, San Francisco Examiner reports.”
