U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- A careful study of murders last year by a non-profit research institute called Just Facts concluded earlier this month that a U.S. citizen faces 1-in-179 odds of being murdered in his/her lifetime, rather than dying of other causes.
Just Facts President and co-founder James D. Agresti revealed in a lengthy report that the FBI murder data for 2021 is woefully incomplete, and the true number—based on an examination of death certificate data—is about 10,000 more slayings than the estimated 14,677 reported by NewsNation and other outlets, which is “Based on a misunderstanding of new FBI data,” Agresti wrote.
The problem may be worse than a simple misunderstanding, however.

People in America may have a 1/179 chance of being murdered, but I don’t: I’m not part of the drug culture, I don’t frequent crime-ridden communities (regardless of race), I’m generally not out between 10 PM - 6 AM, and my home generally doesn’t contain items that the average burglar would break in and steal. This makes my chances far fewer—and, by extension, the chances of those who do have any or all of the above in their lives, much more likely to die unnaturally.

This is one such consequence (fake stats based upon incomplete/inaccurate information).
I do sometimes enjoy numbers analysis. In fact, if their 1-in-179 number is across all demographics and geography, imagine what the number is in Portland, Seattle, LA or - for that matter - DC & Chicago, especially by race and/or income.
Then look at the cause(s): Democrat policies.
I’ll tell you one thing: Passage of 114 in Oregon will ultimately double whatever the odds are here.
Is there any demographic or regional breakdown? It would be interesting to see how much cities influence the national average.
Where I live and my non-criminal lifestyle makes my odds of being murdered much lower.
In other words, 1 out of every 180 deaths is a homicide.
And how,many murders were committed by, “the most dangerous domestic terrorists in the nation” the white supremacists?
When is the last time we saw a headline stating that a white supremacist murdered anyone?
Not sticking up,for them at all, but just making the point that the fbi calls them the “most dangerous” group of “domestic terrists” ever, yet it’s been decades since there were headlines about white supremacists murdering anyone, but only days since headlines about black on black violence, drug induced violence, domestic abuse violence, etc etc etc.
Just a few years ago we saw blm murdering cops, antifa (who the left doesn’t consider to be real apparently) murdering Trump supporters- they hunted them down like animals and murdered them on the streets. We saw blm try to burn down a bui,ding with law enforcement inside, on and on it,goes. Yet the left Trott out the boogie man of “white supremacy” and claim that they are the most dangerous people in the world.
How many kkk rallies have turned violent in the last several decades? How many rallies devolved into bur I g the towns down, destroying people’s businesses, destroying public property etc?
The left are gaslighting the nation by claiming that white folks are the most dangerous folks/terrorists in the nation.
Check out the areas where a person is at most danger of being attacked, and note that it is not areas where extremist white groups congregate. The left however will never admit this inconvenient fact.
There is a sizeable incr3zse in racism lately, racism towards white folks, and the media and the left are fomenting it with their far left socialist gaslighting in an effort to demonize white folks.
This type of statistic is so broad as to render it meaningless. Break it down by zip code and you’ll find the rate is much higher in urban areas and much lower in rural areas.
This is like saying 100% of Americans are going to die without showing risk factors. Spread the data out geographically.
In half the murders, the victim and murderer know each other.
So if you don’t know any murderers, you are somewhat safer.
Ditto for me. Also, I’m armed.
