Utah native Shane Adams experienced a number of big life changes over the course of eight years — the same period of time that his beloved horse, Mongo, had been missing from home....
...By 2017, Adams had given up hope and concluded that Mongo died. Team members at BLM Utah were also unsure as to what had become of the horse. ....
...Then, on Sept. 27 of this year, Adams received a Facebook message request from a BLM Utah employee. ...

Horses may not be as smart as dogs or cats, but they aren't stupid either. Running with wild mustangs might seem glamourous at first. No work expectation, lots of sex and no fences seem pretty glamourous at first.
But after a while, the little bit of work you do feels like a pretty good deal in exchange for a warm stall and a manservant to bring you grain and hay regularly and not have to spend most of your day just foraging to survive and deal with predators.

I know you’re just horsin’ around. You don’t have colt feet; you’re hot to trot. Still, I think you’re just trying to stirrup trouble, which makes you the mane problem around here

That would be about 40% of an average horse’s weight. However, Money may have been overweight.

Utah horse returns home to owner... More like a run-away stray was captured after eight years by the Bureau of Land Management and returned to its owner. He should send that thing to a dog food factory!

I thought Mongo just got elected to the Senate?

The first time I heard the acronym BLM, I thought ‘Bureau of Land Management?’
Then a little while later some crazy woman got snuffed by the police in DC for trying to ram a protected gate. She had been employed by the Forest Service. I was confused.
