Replying to LittleLinda, #1,801, on the previous thread:

It occurs to me that maybe the DOJ was closing in on PDJT faster than we know. It seems to be an unwritten rule that you can’t go after a Presidential candidate with threats of prosecutions, especially the frivolous ones they were preparing. If this possibility was becoming more real, his hand would have been forced. I wish he hadn’t built this up the way he did, but maybe the mere announcement last week that he was making an announcement this week put the dogs at bay, and maybe it was necessary.

We also need to consider that Trump's enemies in the DS have prospective dates with the gallows, dark alleys, or deep waters. They have earned it.

They are no less enemies of humans and of human civilization than the ISIS monsters of a few years ago. And over the past couple of years, more identities of higher-ups, their money channels, their election thievery, etc., have been revealed.

Such a build-up to the announcement must have revved up their pucker factor substantially. They know something is coming for them, and they don't know from what, or from where, or when.

A bail reform group bonding out hundreds of criminal defendants from the Bexar County Jail then paying some to do campaign work for candidates, including the DA whose office is prosecuting them.
