Jet lag. 12 hour time difference. I would not be able to handle it. But I’m not president.
My first ever overseas trip was to the Netherlands on business. Between jet lag, lack of sleep, too much beer, wine and cognac mixed with rich food and cigars, I got really ill on the second day. The host got me to a doctor and then I was dropped off at a hotel to recover. The day after I was fine and toured Amsterdam.
Many overseas trips after that one with never a problem. I learned my lesson.
Somebody is running the fool ragged and he’s going along with it. Killer schedule. Going to croak.
Air Force One has a bedroom for the POTUS to sleep
But they fly there in a luxury jet equipped with a bedroom. He’s not stuck in a middle seat in the economy section.
Even when I was young, after a trans-Atlantic or trans-Pacific flight, I needed a good long rest before I could do anything active! It’s just normal!
But biden needs a long rest AFTER these meetings! At nearly 80, that might be normal, too!
