The second part is probably true but the first is completely false.

Doubtlessly Colombian women get involved in relationships without getting married, but that is a very different thing from "hookup culture" where you meet someone in a club and have a one night stand.

Their boyfriends may be getting them pregnant, but it very likely isn't some stranger they just met doing it.

Anyway, i'm telling you what the guy said. He said Colombian women don't use "tinder" for a hookup, and those that do will very likely rob you.

Which is rather sad.

And yes people who use "dating" apps are at a high risk to be robbed and murdered. It has happened any number of times in the US, the UK and certainly in the Middle East.

Well I presume you know more about it than me. I have never been to Colombia and I must suppose the guy was just trying to present his country as being socially better than it really is.
