She found fame at 13 as one of the stars of the TV sitcom The Wonder Years.
But now, after 46 years in California, Danica McKellar has traded her native state for the more tranquil rural communities of Tennessee.
McKellar, who tied the knot with second husband Scott Sveslosky, an attorney, in 2014, told People: 'My husband and I have been wanting more nature for a long time. We were kind of ready to not be in a city anymore.'

Does that mean her 2nd career on Lifetime or whatever is over....
Ahh, Winnie.
She aged well.
PLEASE, not my part of rural TN!
Leave your California politics at the border.
Leave the leftist crap in Commiefornia. People like you ruined that state. You should have to stay and live in it rather than infesting an unspoiled red state.
“Congratulations TN for another Hollywood virus infecting your state”
Maybe, maybe not. Danica and Candace Cameron Bure bolted from the Hallmark channel over to upstart Great American Family Channel. This happened shortly after Hallmark bent the knee to the LBGT crowd and started producing “more inclusive” movies. Great American Family so far has not.
This linked story gives one hope
She left Hallmark, which has become WOKE and went to the new family friendly GAC network.
And what is your part of rural Tennessee?
She would probably be an asset ……..I don’t know if a single criticism of her
bttt
Nor mine! My skyline now consists of grain silos.
👍🏻👍🏻
“We were kind of ready to not be in a city anymore.”
That says enough about her to me. I’m sure Dr. McKellar will raise that county’s average IQ closer to 100 than it’s ever been.
Didn’t the article say she’ll be in a new Hallmark Christmas movie soon?
Now, any of the womyn from 'The View' try to move to Tennessee..? That's another whole ball of wax.
I’m betting that they’ll vote for the same $#it in Tennessee that they’re escaping from in California.
McKellar revealed back in May that she's recently discovered the saving grace of Jesus Christ in a powerful way. "And I can tell you I'm experiencing a relationship with God and Jesus that I've never had before, and it feels miraculous," she said on Instagram.
"I have been going to church and finding a lot of amazing love and peace and purpose and it's blowing my mind. I always had this other preconceived notion of what that was when people talked about Jesus and the Lord. I just didn't quite get it," she said.
Welcome to Tennessee, Danica.
