Things that make you say, hmm.
Forgot to say, even lib icon, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, stated that election day should be done by midnight.

If you go state-by-state, I’d suggest that a minimum of thirty of them....had minimal problems. A few states required Wednesday and Thursday to tally up absentee ballots, and thats normal.
So you are left with approximately 12 states with issues. NV for example....is still at 98-percent of vote counted (Monday AM). Some districts in California are still at 64-percent counted as of Monday AM.

Florida used to be a mess too until Jeb! reformed it.
We used to always know election night or the next day in really close races. That was before the advance of mail in ballots. Why does it take so many days to count anyway?
I am sure most people are happy with incoherent Pres. and VP, homosexual sex education, open borders, runaway inflation, etc.
It takes a lot of time to cheat that much!

Absentee ballots shouldn’t swing election results in a statewide election.

Texas and Florida have effective Republican governors, and an interest in honest elections.
The answer is FRAUD.
DeSantis didn't moan & cry about voter fraud AND he didn't pretend voter fraud didn't exist. He acted.
DeSantis set up a group almost a year ago to make sure our elections here in Florida were safe. To add icing to the cake a few weeks before the election he had some people arrested for voter fraud. The stories of the arrests make local liberal newspapers groups that then loudly complained about that meanie DeSantis - and EVERYONE INCLUDING FRAUDSTERS 'got the message'.

We have to remember that DeSantis came within 32,000 “votes” out of 8 million votes cast of losing to a druggie rump ranger in 2018.
The answer is in the difference of how VBM, vote by mail is done , dems use that to have an election month and harvest, e.g. in many of the Dem states or ones where they have a dem secretary of state, e.g. CA, AZ they mail out ballots to everyone, (illegal in every democracy in Europe) but not so in FL or Texas-they do it they way it should be done and was prior to Covid.
Florida permits any registered voter to request an absentee ballot,they do not mail them out to everyone as in CA and many blue/purple state AND the request has to be received by the office of the local supervisor of elections by the close of business ten days before the election. Only the voter or an immediate family member can make the request. There are NO mass mailings of vote-by-mail ballots.
This is should be issue #1 for GOP,doesn’t matter who is on the ticket for president otherwise they will lose with the VBM and harvesting
