I don’t see the Senate suspending the filibuster for gun control either in the upcoming lame duck session or in 2023, and I don’t see Dems getting 60 votes in the Senate to pass gun control laws if they are unable to suspend the filibuster.

My prediction for their gun plan is they will just keep things going down the cultural slope like it has been for the last 100+ years, while keeping everyone fat and entertained. There is no confiscation for a very long time. They pass their laws, executive orders and court rulings against importation, manufacturing and new purchases and wait for the guns to be turned in or registered as required as the decades roll on and the generations pass. Eventually nobody will bother to get off the virtual reality couch when they do come pick up great great grandpa’s dusty guns.
