We Are All Out Of Boxes
Original Content | 11/12/2022 | By Laz A. Mataz

It has been said before, by many people, that there are four boxes in politics: The Soap Box (or expressing yourself), the Ballot Box (voting), the Jury Box (legal challenges to bad voting or speech suppression), and the Cartridge Box (the use of firearms).

The Soap Box has been squelched by an unholy alliance between government and social media (and search engines), although Elon Musk may rescue Twitter. So, the Soap Box is mostly gone.

The Ballot Box has been diminished, almost to the point that it doesn't even matter any more. This has been done through a combination of Democrat voter fraud and superior tactics in ballot harvesting and early voting.

The Jury Box seems to be nearly impotent, inasmuch as the SCOTUS refuses to touch national elections, and won't interfere in government / business alliances to suppress free speech.

So we are left with the Cartridge Box. But even there, I don't see what we could do.

There is a longstanding Journalist premise that in any article, you should speak about WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE -- and if known, WHY. So let us speak to the WHAT. Yes, we all have guns. What do we do?

WHERE do we assemble? If we congregate at one location, weapons of area destruction ensure we are hamburger. If we go the anonymous resistance cell method, today's surveillance capabilities (and the infiltration that follows) renders us ineffective.

Besides, WHO do we attack? I feel going after individuals or institutions, even political types, makes martyrs of them and villains of us.

It’s not so much the HOW. Even if they took every gun away, the level of technology available to many people, makes everyone very dangerous. The problem is WHAT and WHO and WHERE.

There’s also a level of WHY. I know WHY. But in this context, the WHY refers to resolve and motivation. There is one fellow I know, a dead-eye shot. Very good. But when things went south in 2020, I contacted him, and he responded he was standing down. “If y’all can’t even vote right or stop the fraud, why should I stick my neck out?”

I think the WHY is the most important part: Motivation. Tanks could not stop the revolution during the collapse of the Soviet Union. The people had had enough. Those that were in the tanks, joined the side of freedom.

If you convince a critical mass people that ‘enough is enough’, and you convince them all to act, there is nothing that can stand before them. It’s like that old Conan movie, the “Riddle of Steel.” Steel is not strong. Flesh (and the willingness of the flesh to act) is STRONG.

That’s why the indoctrination of our youth is so dangerous. That’s why suppression of content and information is so dangerous. That is why our most important fights are to preserve free speech, to educate our young, and to continue to share ideas among ourselves.

The only thing I see working is the "long game":

1) Marry well
2) Have lots of children
3) Keep them away from liberal indoctrination
4) Keep them away from anything that could be used to compromise them in the future, e.g. drugs, porn, etc.
5) To keep them from rebelling against you when they become teens, make it clear that the real enemy who must be rebelled against is the Swamp
6) When they reach maturity and are fully strengthened against liberal grooming, have them go into the several major institutions pretending to be liberals and retake what Mencius Moldbug calls "The Cathedral".

This may take a generation or two, and there are many ways this plan can be thwarted by the oligarchs, but I don't see anything save complete societal collapse that will turn this ship around.

If even one of these properly trained children can grow up to be a Trump-like figure without the baggage associated with his tweets, poor hiring judgment, etc. then that could be a game changer.

Nobody has to write, everybody has to eat.

It’s going to come down to: who can restart local farming first?

Writing, the internet, that will all be a distant daydream the old people describe around the campfire to any children who make it past infancy. It will sound like a fantasy.

The people who cause the harm need to feel the consequences, personally. The person who grooms the kids in school needs to be held responsible. The person who stuffs the drop box needs to feel the consequences. If the bad people see others pay the price, they may think twice. The problem then becomes who will sacrifice their lives to make the guilty pay? No one wants to spend the rest of their lives in prison. I certainly don’t.

Yeah, that’s a good question, WHERE? I was very interested in retiring to the Philippines. At least the women aren’t totally insane in that country. I need to have a COVID vax to go there. Considering I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy after my first Pfizer shot, I’m not getting another one. Guess I’ll just sit in the current prison cell in the US. And not leave my red state. I don’t trust blue states to respect my fundamental human rights.

See my Freepmail.

I will write, though, until it's no longer important or possible. Morale is important; education and the passing of ideas is important... for now.

My take on what happened in Russia is that the neocons and libertarians via the "Chicago Boys" tried to get Russians to be too free too quickly.

If the Russians had stuck with Gorbachev and morphed into a capitalist welfare state like Sweden, then they would be in a much better position today.

Instead the Friedmaniacs tried to get them to go full freemarketard and what happened was that those in the positions of power (e.g. ex-KGB agents) grabbed hold of the major economic centers and became the oligarchs that now control the country.

We have to find the proper balance between atomized individualism and ant-farm collectivism. The Russians went from the ant-farm to anomie too quickly and paid the price.

We’ve had two Tea Parties. One led to the Declaration of Independence. The other led is here.

“So we are left with the Cartridge Box. But even there, I don’t see what we could do.”

Biden’s handlers are chomping at the bit for it to go hot so that they can declare martial law. That is when a woke military will start rounding up both guns and dissidents.

The only way out of this is to purposely crash the economy. Shut it down. Cut off their resupply. And it needs to be done before they take away our ammo boxes. Because that is when we will need them and they will be weak. Politicians, Law enforcement, and military are not going to work for free.

Only then can we control the narrative.

we are not out of ‘boxes.’

we’re all in the God box no matter who we are.

there is ‘no man’ or power on earth who can snatch me out of the God box except me.

The Tea Party was originally a "good government" movement, i.e. controlled immigration, debt reduction, etc.

When other failed conservative movements saw that it was successful they glommed onto it and watered down the message.

Libertarians started yakking about lower taxes. Social conservatives started talking about ending abortion and gay marriage. Gone was the simple message of bringing our government back into line with reality.

The Tea Party had some effect in electing some candidates, but were they "good government" conservatives or were they libertarians and social conservatives who really didn't care about controlling immigration or the government debt?

And then some of them got bought by McConnell and that's all she wrote.

Lazmataz is not talking about your salvation, but the continuing existence of the US.

Yes you may eventually end up in Heaven, but only after you and yours have been raped, tortured, and murdered.

However, when the group is large enough to make an impact, what they ask for tends to be more rather than less government.

The farmers in the Netherlands DEFINITELY want less. The truckers in Canada may not have had as much impact as we like, but they also want less.

Both movements were creative in using trucks and farm gear (including manure and flaming hay bales) to get attention.

So even mostly non-violent massive protests seem to have little long-term effect on political leaders

Is that because we continue to vote for the same ones, over and over, expecting a different outcome?

How many times do we let them lie to us before we make a change? We did, in 2016. Aside from the mean tweets and some comments, none of which bothered me, we got results. Some of which far exceeded any expectations. Low crime, interest rates, gas, independence, illegal immigration and refugees almost non-existent, peace.

The party apparatus has lulled all of us into thinking we can only vote for their pick or the lousy Republican, who is their pick, over the Democrat. Anyone they don’t approve of is quickly dismissed or bought off.

Why don’t good or better people run? If the better person runs and the party doesn’t want them, an all-out assault is performed to get them to bow out. Or, the voters are led to believe that the challenger is bad for “business” and we fall for it.

I’d love it if someone could do one of those Luntz, focus groups with a group of folks that voted for Nancy Mace. I’d love to hear their reasoning.

At this point, anyone the party apparatus, pundits, consultants, Chamber of Commerce, or donors, support, than should be supporting the other guy/gal. But, the aforementioned have made it so difficult to run against incumbents that no one tries. Too expensive. Too draining. No support.

But that guy in Jersey did it for less than a few grand, and did it against a very powerful person, so it can be done.

And in many cases, I’m betting, that most voters won’t take the time to listen to the new guy/gal, while at the same time, bitch about how the incumbent does nothing but lie.

So, we circle right back to the “devil we know over the devil we don’t”. How many times does Lindsey Graham get to lie and screw over the people?

How many times do politicians in the Red/Southern/Midwestern states, running for re-election get to screw us all over, then every 2-4-6 years, get on their soapboxes and talk about lowering taxes(which they never do), stand up to big corporations(that they get all their money from and work secret deals with), GUNS GUNS GUNS GUNS and the 2nd Amendment, the military and we lap it all up, right?

Only to have them turn their backs on all of us, whether they’re on the city council/county commissions pushing developments/projects through that no one wants, making secret deals.

Governors and state politicians making secret deals and giving away taxpayer money for things that the voters don’t want or approve of.

Or the folks in DC doing all the things they do while being puppets to the Chamber of Commerce, Wall St, billionaires wanting special treatment.

Oh and learn to tech.

Everything’s techie these days, including elections and it’s not going away. Take a computer course and work on other tech/administrative areas so that you can do more than barely manage to log in and post on FR.

The dems have a well funded, complex, high tech network. Their companies design the ballots, print the ballots, build the machines and write the software for them. They train people to work with those machines. The RNC was supposed to be doing that too but .....
