The United States men's national team's 26-man roster for the 2022 FIFA World Cup is officially out after coach Gregg Berhalter released the team in an event in New York. With Wales, England and Iran on the schedule, the pressure is on for the national team to erase the lows of the eight-year wait to return to the tournament and build off of the highs we've seen with domestic success over Mexico.

I wonder if the English fans will take a while to adjust from singing “God Save the Queen” to “God Save the King”
Not exactly household names but I guess it would depend on the household. Where’s Ted Lasso? (j/k).
And yes, GO USA!!
Their game against Iran would determine if they even make it out of the group stage.
1998 they got taught a harsh lesson about football.
Surprised that Tim Ream made it. He is basically a snail with cleats. Reminds me of the other sand worm Jeff Agoos.
This is the men’s team - they may be a tad less political. :)
I don’t think they’ll even score a goal in group
The last ranking I saw had the USMNT at 1500:1 to win the cup. They were also 15th in power ranking. Group ‘B’ also has England, Wales and Iran so unless the USMNT has improved tremendously the odds of getting out of group play are low.
“What to know about every player representing USA men’s soccer in Qatar”
Half of them were originally women?
I read an article reviewing the roster and it said about half of the projected starters were coming off of injuries. Also, several had played a competitive match in months. Such a disappointing bit of news given how well they played over the last year.
This is the men's team, the woke harpies are the women's team,
The problem with this team is the head coach (Gregg Berhalter) is inexperienced in the international game and its tactics and chose too many players from our weak domestic league MLS.
🤣😂🤣 Nice.
They won’t make it out of the group stage.
We have the youngest squad in the tournament.
The US has 4 players worth 20 million in transfer fees. England had 58.

The European teams were angered they could not wear a “OneLove” armband.

Surprising that Iran beat Whales when we should have done the same.
