speaking of poppy’s brother neil bush.

don’t forget that neil was a pioneer in financial frauds for his part in the big Silverado S&L bankruptcy.

the S&L crisis of the 80’s was a result of corrupt S&L’s loading up their balance sheets with bogus loans where the borrowers made off with a ton of cash, defaulted on their loans & the S&L threw they keys on thir roof & filed bankruptcy.

turned out to be another taxpayer finance skam

this is similar in many ways to what we see happening in RTX/Demos/Uke

A lot of those loans were the result of government coercion that pushed many S&L banks to lend to high risk borrowers with poor credit, in bad neighborhoods. I recall, in the late 90s, the City of Cleveland (and probably others) going after Third Federal S&L in the area because their lending practices were supposedly too strict. I don't know how that turned out for them, as I left the area before that battle was finished.

I know that when I borrowed from TFS&L to get my first and second house, they were pretty strict - 20% down, or you paid mortgage insurance until you reached 20% equity. Unless you had outstanding credit, then those rules might have been eased a bit.

I understand Neil was Larry Silverstein's point man, responsible for security at the World Trade Center when the towers went down, "dustified" by a directed energy weapon that we're not supposed to know about.

In the weeks prior to 9/11, Israeli Art Students were given sway over an otherwise unused suite, which they promptly filled with thousands and thousands of explosive fuse holders (and only reasonably, the explosive fuses designed to be held by them).

Neil certainly must have deserved some thanks for his good job with WTC security, eh?
