Annoucing a run now,  before a potential shakeup or any other unusual intervention (replacing Brandon with Newsom etc., replacing Brandon with 25th amendment, Law of War etc.), allows Trump to say what he has done, and what he wants to do while people can focus.

With any kind of significant shakeup 'standing down' Brandon, the public will be highly agitated, focused on the present, wondering what is going on, not looking ahead 2 years from now to focus on 2024. Trump's campaign announcement in the middle of Brandon's removal would be unwelcome, considered tone-deaf if made right in the middle of disruptions/changes in play (e.g., "Do you have to do that NOW???")

This lets him stand up and tell people we can recover from all this as a nation, before the MSM 'gets' to make it seem like the sky is falling and blame it on Trump.

And, this timing triggers our enemies to expend their energy early. *sigh*

I don’t know what’s going on, but I want blood in the streets, figuratively speaking.

Don’t get me wrong, I like what he is saying, but it’s not igniting the spark of hope that I need.

At this trajectory, I may never bother to vote again.
