Youngsters fresh off the battlefields of the sandbox can handle tactical duty, and older veterans can hold down a desk or perform other duties

Dude just F that. Some of us older dudes were jumping out of helicopters and kicking ass back in the day. I was armed to the teeth and maintained a full combat load out in my closet. That was before the tragic boat accident in which all of my firearms were lost on the bottom of lake Sinclair. I am a combat marine. A desk can kiss my ass. That seems an awkward statement since you sit at a desk, but the sentiment is adamant. Die on your feet rather than live on your knees. The day is coming when men will be required to choose one or the other. fuck if I'll do that from a desk.

Considering I’ve been out of the Army for 49 years, a desk chair is the only thing I can jump into, but I prefer to carefully sit without endangering my lower back.

Yeah Toddler, I can dig the ‘tude. And I still have all the hardware. But the 40 years I trained tightened the knees up a bit so I have to call the shots more closely now. Trying to make me die would be expensive for the tryer. Take care of yourself, stay away from the lake, watch your six, semper Fi
