What Happened on Election Night? I Think I Have Some Answers

There is whiskey in my coffee this morning. I considered going with heroin, which, thanks to Kathy Hochul, is easy to find in New York, but I’m saving my final fall for election night 2024.

Here is what I think went wrong — and right — in our elections.

Principles For starters, conservatives have principles, and the lefties do not. Die-hard libskanks are dedicated to their party communism. They will happily vote for anyone, even a pedophile — or, as they call them, Minor Attracted Persons (MAP) — as long as they have a “D” before their name.

Conservatives are not the same. I know a few never-Trumpers who pinched their noses and voted for Trump, but I know many who stayed home on election night, twice. True Democrats wouldn’t consider not voting for their candidate, even if he looks like the guy from Sling Blade and can’t put a sentence together.

Dr. Oz was a horrible candidate, but he is clearly a better man for the job than Fetterman. How many Pennsylvania Republicans snubbed Oz, the highly polished carpetbagger, and stayed home on Tuesday?

Bolshies don’t care that they are paying $4 for gas in Michigan. They don’t care that poor black people are getting slaughtered amid a three-year crime surge. They aren’t concerned that inflation is gutting the nation; it’s all about the party, comrade.

Conservatives love their children

Today, Facebook is full of working-class libs celebrating Tuesday’s elections, even though their kids could get raped due to cashless bail laws or an accidental overdose on a Percocet they bought off the street, having no idea it was laced with Chinese fentanyl.

FACT-O-RAMA! Leftists hate conservatives so much that they’ll smilingly endure brutal crime and historic inflation rather than allow a Republican in office.

I am also completely convinced that Graham deliberately did that in order to sabotage Republicans.

That is exactly right. He knowingly did that for exactly that impact.

The real issue is VBM, Vote By Mail, Fetterman for example had over 70% of his vote in before the election week. Dems are able to vote harvest and go through their voter rolls and make sure “someone” fills out their ballot-sort of legal stuffing the bsallot box (along with illegal I’m sure)
As Election Wizard pointed out “Democrats fortified their COVID mass mail-in-voting apparatus. It’s a vote-harvesting juggernaut that will continue to produce competitive results no matter the GOP nominee. 2020 wasn’t a one-off. There is now a well-established Democrat machine that will harvest hordes of votes during “Election Month.”
This didn’t happen in Florida becasue voting integrity systems were put in place in Florida after the state became a national laughingstock in the wake of the 2000 presidential election, Florida permits any registered voter to request an absentee ballot, but the request has to be received by the office of the local supervisor of elections by the close of business ten days before the election. Only the voter or an immediate family member can make the request. There are NO mass mailings of vote-by-mail ballots as in many of the states that we had disapointing results.

BTW: VBM with ballots mailed out to all is illegal in all European countries, e.g. France has 95
% vote on election day and results in on same day

Even if you are about to lose, it’s still necessary to fight. Sometimes those are the most important battles.

Thank you so much.

I do a www.wildworldofhistory.com history webcast every Wed. night at 9:00 EST on a different topic. Last week was “Game Over: A History and Sociology of Video Games,” and next week it’s “How Geography Determine’s the World’s Winners and Losers.”

BUT . . . right after that, at 10:00, on my other site www.wildworldofpolitics.com I have “Talking Politics with Larry” and you can ask questions, state opinions, whatever.

The abortion thing is mixed. Most exit polls show two things:
1) In most blue states it hurt the GOP, HOWEVER . . . did you know that Oz won the “pro-choice” PA districts, while Fetterman won the pro-life districts? Figger that one out.

It was about a 4 to 5 point difference where it mattered. In VA, that was probably enough to cost a couple of house seats. But that didn’t matter in TX, where Flores was beaten cuz the R turnout just wasn’t enough there.

2) Blue states enacted their pro abort laws, but red states, while allowing anti-abort laws (KS, KY, OH), are NOT ready to include a right to life provision in constitutions (KS, KY).

Ohio elected three Rs to the Supreme Court, meaning its anti-abortion bill will stand.

‘I am also completely convinced that Graham deliberately did that in order to sabotage Republicans.’

absolutely; it’s like the veteran ballplayer seeing younger guys coming in to take his spot in the lineup...some players will do anything to belittle the other guy, just to keep his job...

not so much today, with all the money players get, but back in the fifties, rookies had to take savage abuse and underhanded tactics from the veterans...
