He might lose. Certain states need to fix voting, like FL has done and like Lake will do in AZ. Not sure about GA and PA or the others so Trump or DeSantis will not matter. They both lose.
We have to live with 2 more years of this regime's incompetence.

If 2022 got stolen, why didn’t Trump say a word about it being stolen? All he talked about was how well his endorsed candidates did.
DeSantis is young.
He can sit this out if Trump insists on being the nominee—no need to trash DeSantis.
We need a win.

We need Donald Trump to step aside for his country—because he cannot win in 2024.
That would be great for everyone.

I agree. Governor Ron should go meet with Pres. Trump, make nice and announce his support for Trump 2024. Any other move is going to risk his political destruction.
I was going to point that out in my post but deleted because there is another component to that...it is especially true when a person starts the descent.
Not saying that is happening at all to Trump but it does happen.
My colleagues asked me why I was retiring at sixty eight. I told them I wanted to stop working before, I embarrassed myself and harmed my patients. It was the hardest thing I ever did. Trump is embarrassing himself and harming the country. It’s sad.

I will vote for the nominee whether President Trump or Governor DeSantis. Today I would prefer that it be DeSantis.
We can get into the weeds but I am convinced that the Trump hating governors of Georgia and NH (and there are probably more Republican governors out there) would support DeSantis and help make him President.
Trump needs to be a Statesman first and stand down.

Good post—I retired at 66 at least partially because my memory for detail was starting to decline—and my job required mastery of lots of detail.
My co-workers and my boss did not see it—but I did.
I have always been brutally honest with myself—and knew it was time.
Secession is the only way out of this, and Texas has to start it. Other states won’t even think about it until Texas is doing it.

It’s a little concerning that Ryan, Jeb and others seem to back DeSantis.
