I think Doomcock has said consistently that firing KK “isn’t so simple”, and that she has enough political power that Chapek is letting her hang herself, but I could be recalling it wrong.

His sources have been consistently right on the Indy feedback, since the test screenings have been a disaster from what I’ve heard.

I think an Indy abomination that tops the backlash to She-Hulk, Rings of Power, and all the Star Trek crap combined would be enough to push her out for good.

It’s just too bad this all had to happen. I was open to the Young Indy meets Old Indy stuff, but as it stands now I’m not going to see the movie, and I’m probably the biggest Indy fan in the world since age 11.
