I’m likely to get a ton of flak for this post. That’s okay, I can take it.

Well reasoned; I would add these points:
1. He lost his reelection bid, never conceded, riled up alot supporters and left them to be tried and imprisoned. They were his foolish boots on the ground. It wasn't fair but there it is.
2. He is arguably too old to run and serve again.
3. He was born June 14, 1946 and never served in the military.

Well at least you bring up one thing that die-hard conservatives used to “require” - MIL service.

I don’t agree, but it was a point of contention used against Dem presidents and to some extent, W Bush. (That National Guard wasn’t good enough, etc.)

For Trump all their demands of candidates went down the toilet.

Also not being a rich privileged kid, and having one wife who doesn’t get cheated on.

Again, not that we have to have these requirements, but that was standard demand.
