Patton was a good general. But Trump is no Patton.
People have a view of Patton that is really Coppola’s words based on Bradley’s stories. He was a much deeper person than the general public knows. He was an Olympian and a poet.
Trump is a loud New York real estate guy. He knows how to work a room and bring attention to himself.
He proved himself to be a poor manager. He is absolutely not a team player. And he never owns his mistakes or how his mouth gets him in trouble.
I voted for him in primaries and the general election because he was the best choice. That’s not the case anymore.
Plus he is as old as dirt.
I’d like yo see the J6 Select Committee continue, with the Republicans doing the selecting. I think a defense of Trump could be made, if the videos of the event were shown. That said, I think the establishment Rs may be happy to see DJT damaged....to America’s detriment.
