Do you somehow think the Dems wont “hit on” some other Republican Presidential candidate with fraudulent votes if they thought they might lose honestly and the candidate would try to Drain the Swamp?
Think about that.....the 1 thing we do know is Trump scared the living hell out of the Deep State...and exposed how deeply embedded it is.....and they had to get rid of him to save their own asses ....even if it WAS blatant
The only way I can see a Republican being “allowed” to win is if he or she would sweep all the corruption under the rug so some people could think we still have a “democracy” instead of a Banana Republic ...
Maybe you're tired of the fight likes lots of other FReepers I see on here now .. and that's what you want at this point.....to pretend everything is fine if we have an insider RINO in office like Romney or McCain would have been...they would have NEVER exposed that we KNOW now because they are part of it Anyways...that's just IMHO..but I welcome yours..

That's not me, not at all. I'll always shoot-straight and call 'em like I see 'em. This is how I genuinely feel.
No media or news nudging... heck they cannot! I never watch them. Ever.
This is how I feel. I love President Trump's record and actions. I'm not as fond of how he handles criticism and cannot seem to discern when it is time to speak out and when it is time to remain quiet.
For example, he could have been a little more quiet previous to the midterms, especially as regards Ron DeSantis.

I am looking for the answer to this. Thinking about what Laz and you are saying, the only way would be to sneak somebody in that the Left doesn’t recognize. I cannot see a way to do that. The steal machinery is in place, and it is up to them to use it how they like since we have no counter to it. We have no leader if it is not Trump. If we do get a leader, Kari Lake(!?) or even how about Tulsi Gabbard(!!?) that person would be destroyed. And to become our leader that person would have to start “Lock her (or whomever) up” chants at rallies. Support for Trump or otherwise must be part of a comprehensive strategy which we do not have right now.

I’m going to move slowly, tread lightly regarding 2024 POTUS choices...
I think there likely is a plan afoot to split the MAGA wing of GOP. I have seen numerous clips and articles. This is not being promoted by Freepers, but by the media, RINOs, and NeverTrumpers.
However, I see the starting of the “Trump needs to bow out movement”—of course before he may announce and may face indictment...Saw some of this with Pence comments a couple weeks ago (his new hit~piece book is going to be released this week) as well as on a couple threads recently.

I think 2022 midterm sweep expectations were overblown by many media and pols for weeks (perhaps some deliberate), so people are let down today. (Frankly, I am glad we actually had an election with this bunch in charge in DC...) As it stands now, GOP will likely have the House, Senate, numerous judges, and governors—Some MAGA.
Is the cup half empty, half full? I don’t blame Trump for some misses, I thank him for the wins. See talking heads complaining that he did not give enough money or time to candidates...What serves as satisfactory?
Trump has an ego—name me one pol who doesn’t? Especially one who wants to be POTUS. However, he is the only President to my knowledge who actually cared about the country and the citizens since Reagan.
Trump not only scared the Deep State and NeverTrumpers (and still does), but from what I see, he can’t be bought—which may mitigate his shortcomings and mistakes. That was truly one of the most appealing “pros” for my voting for him in 2016.
Not saying anything negative about DeSantis or anyone else...There was an article posted here a couple days ago...that does make one think if someone gives a candidate a lot of money, what will they want and when will they want it...We are living through this scenario now with 46 :(

Though I think DeSantis has been a great governor, and Kari Lake will be a great governor, I am not ready to give up on Trump just yet...2 years is a long time, and frankly the pain we as a country are likely going to go through will pale in comparison to some mean tweets and mediocre personnel choices. (brandon says he needs to change nothing...needs to be more aggressive.)
Question is, can we survive?
