GOP Rep. Mayra Flores: 'The Red Wave Did Not Happen'
WSJ ^ | 11/9/2022 | Unknown

Posted on 11/09/2022 3:06:36 AM PST by Phoenix8

Republican Rep. Mayra Flores, who won a special election earlier this year but then lost Tuesday against Democratic incumbent Rep. Vicente Gonzales, had a sharp tweet after her loss saying the Red Wave expected by some election watchers didn't happen. She tweeted: "The RED WAVE did not happen. Republicans and Independents stayed home. DO NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE RESULTS IF YOU DID NOT DO YOUR PART!"

I think we get to 227 in the House.

“ God have mercy on our country. The mess we are in is going to get way way worse.”

And people are blaming the people who lost in a major fraud election

They’ll blame oz. How is anyone supposed to win against this? People really think Fetterman won. That Kari Lake lost. That trump is at fault

Every day patriots die and there are more people who don’t care. Voter replacement is a real thing. Dems care a lot more about winning than the GOPe and it shows in results like this.

“They cheated.”

On steroids!

What makes me angry is that Repubs didn’t take all the precautions they could to prevent this.

Charlie Kirk has been speaking out for weeks how the rats will try to steal Arizona. (e.g. “The printers won’t work.”)

They didn’t cheat.

They got more votes.

The sooner Republicans accept the truths about their party and positions, the faster they can fix things and start winning. Look at where we lost and why. Look at where we won and why.

Fix the problems, not the blame.

In 2022, nothing is ever anyone’s fault.

90% of the posts all over FR are about how trump is bad

These people cheat. How is hating trump going to fix that

We need to fix it. No one is coming to do it. Hating the losers in such an environment is insane.

indeed it’s not over at all.

with Kari Lake, Charlie Kirke & team explained how, in her case, they only counted early Dem votes so she’d look bad at the end of Tuesday. she is expected to win quite easily once the rest of the votes are counted.

however, having it look like Lake was a big loser, while DeSantis was a big winner, would guarantee more infighting amongst Republicans over whether Trump or DeSantis should be the candidate in 2024. that is how world media is framing this, and it is also what I’ve seen happening amongst Republicans since Tuesday night’s carefully-chosen, partial results were announced, making it look like Republicans as a whole were the big losers.

(of course, in other cases, when it suits, early votes are counted last blah blah, whatever)

on Bannon, there was a guy explaining the following, which is yet another trick:

8 Nov: Breitbart: L.A. Residents Told to Stay Home Due to Rain — with 4 Hours Left to Vote
by Joel B. Pollak
Los Angeles residents received an emergency alert on their mobile phones Tuesday afternoon urging them to stay home — with just four hours to go before polls close.

The alert was issued at around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, with polls in L.A. County due to close at 8:00 p.m. It advised residents not to “attempt to travel unless you are fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.”...

Though Los Angeles was not the only part of the state to experience severe weather warnings, skeptics wondered whether there might be a link between an alert telling people to stay home due to a “dangerous and life-threatening” situation, and the election...

Though most voters in California cast ballots by mail, conservative voters are thought to prefer voting on Election Day. Voters had to brave the elements at times to make it to polling places...

Update: The National Weather Service’s Los Angeles branch tweeted a clarification:

Tweet: NWS Los Angeles: Apologies for the confusion over the Flash Flood Warning (FFW). A glitch changed the small box for the area near the Fish Fire burn scar into all of LA County just as it was sent. We cancelled it and sent the correct FFW for the small Fish burn scar as shown in the image...ETC
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/11/08/l-a-residents-told-to-stay-home-due-to-rain-with-4-hours-left-to-vote/

you need to pay full attention to ensuring the counts continue expeditiously, and without further shenanigans.

The red tsunami was stolen.

Maybe to some degree. Fraud has been going on forever, but it is more concentrated in some places than others. Steeling a house district requires more specific resources than steeling a state wide race.

That this district was not subject to the effects of a “red tsunami” suggests either the tsunami was over-stated or this district had problems with voter fraud.

I have no problem believing that there is fraud in Chicago and Philly-—the Dems learned how to do it from the Pubs in the ancient days, if I understand correctly. While LBJ knew how to cheat in Texas when he needed to, that was long ago.

If only Florida has cleaned up its act, then Houston we have a problem—and Texas is a key state in partially remedying what we can.

I am more inclined to believe the candidate in this particular case.

In 2022, nothing is ever anyone’s fault.

Really? Because all I'm hearing is that it's all Trump's fault or all McConnell's fault.

I forgot Bannon, he was pushing that Hispanic red wave nonsense more than Shapiro actually.

Yes thanks for the redistricting info, I didn’t know that.

Yeah 227 is possible. I was thinking it’d be more like 245 but....

RINO sabotage in the form of pushing candidates they wanted and deliberately starving populist candidates of funding kept this from being as big of a victory as it could have been. The Turtle and McCarthy would rather have fewer Republicans in the house and senate so long as they were not MAGA Republicans.

Look at Karl Rove spending Republican money to campaign against Doug Mastriano. How much did this hurt Oz since Mastriano supporters were likely to be Oz supporters? Look at the Turtle pulling funding from General Bolduc in New Hampshire and Blake Masters in Arizona in order to prop up Murkowski....running against a MAGA Republican in Alaska.

RINOs are enemy #1. They must be driven out of power at all costs.

If elections are rigged and “red tsunamis” can be wiped away with fraud, then what is the purpose of continuing to participate?

> Fix the problems, not the blame. <

We should not abandon our suspicions regarding the cheating. Because once we do, any cheating will go into overdrive.

Nevertheless, you make a good point. Consider the Oz / Fetterman race in Pennsylvania. Oz was a terrible candidate for a dozen reasons. Just terrible. We need to learn from that.
