I reckon us hillbilles only knew the one name. :D

There’s one stretch of them bordering a very old farm along old RT 20 that is lousy with them.

They literally had a “live fence” years ago and the thorns kept the cows in.

Right now, the side of the road is covered with squashed hedge apples for a half mile and the trees are no longer pruned to a proper hedge fence height so they’re huge and gnarly.
I hope they never cut them down because I’ve “known” those trees my whole life.

My dad used to get annoyed because I’d bring them home and keep them because they smelled good...until they totally did not, after a month or so.

He only ever managed to convince me to not bring them into the house and “lose them”, anymore.

So many of you are so faithful to me, and my dog that it just humbles me.

My “real life” family is sorely lacking in that respect but I have blessed with so many “online family members” that it really doesn’t hurt me very much, anymore.

Considering that he has become a spoiled brat who gets everything he wants, no questions, and never gets told “no” unless he’s trying to chomp some scary plant he sees, I bet he knows.

Here are some newer kitty photos. Hard to photograph them while they're on the move.

Here's Dandi, my Maine Coon, trying out new bath mat. That mat is 24" long. She is only a baby, about 1.25 years old. Maine Coons grow until they're 3 or 4 years old, so she has a ways to go. Already 12 lbs.

Here are both my babies, Dandi and Zizu, my little rescue girl from the streets of some little tiny town in NJ. They are pretty inseparable, love to chase each other and wrestle.
