.....Department of Justice monitors are not permitted under Florida law. Section 102.031(3)(a) of the Florida Statutes lists the people who “may enter any polling room or polling place.”
“Earlier today, the Florida Department of State received copies of your letters to Miami-Dade and Broward Counties in which you seem to indicate that the Department of Justice will send monitors inside polling places in these counties,” reads the letter.
“We also understand you sent a similar letter to Palm Beach County. But Department of Justice monitors are not permitted under Florida law. Section 102.031(3)(a) of the Florida Statutes lists the people who “may enter any polling room or polling place.” Department of Justice personnel are not included on the list. Even if they could qualify as “law enforcement” under section 102.031(3)(a)6. of the Florida Statutes, absent some evidence concerning the need for federal intrusion, or some federal statute that preempts Florida law, the presence of federal law enforcement inside polling places would be counterproductive and could potentially undermine confidence.”

In order to cheat. The Democrats know that the Feds will aid them in that endevor.
I tend to think the DoJ has the right to place monitors as the Congress has Amendment XV enforcement rights and ultimate authority over elections to Congress.
We run our elections right nowadays. The DoJ needs to see a functioning system work so it knows that election laggards should not be tolerated as they create election distrust and “election deniers”.
I understand the spirit of your comment, but I would not vote for any politician who made such a promise. It's not the business of the federal government to be legislating anything with regards to elections.

Already voted but going back to watch... anything weird I will post it here.
The sheriffs in FL counties tend to be conservative. Likely they will remove any intruders from voting facilities.
arrest those unauthorized persons interfering with the election process
That’s a great idea. “Sauce for the goose…”
No need. Every polling place in Florida has an on-duty Sherriff's deputy present. That deputy is under the direction of the election official at that polling place. A DOJ presence in any polling place would be a violation of Florida law as was mentioned earlier.
Put Sheriff Grady Judd in charge of a task force to arrest the Fed Folks.
Although it won’t do any good in with the current garbage judicial atmosphere in this zoo, Florida needs to sue the ass off of Garland and his weaponized Department of Jugheads.
Right. Me to. Here on PA Governor Wolf will be welcoming these DOJ goons, who are not here to safeguard our elections from being stolen.
They are here to block US from observing and safeguarding elections.
I fully expect Oz and Mastriano to win and then have their races stolen in the wee hours - just like 2020 :-(
SNAP! Take that , bitches.
I would almost be willing to vote DeSantis over trump if Ron said he would implement florida voting system nationwide when he was elected

My thought is that pushing for more secure voting system that limits mail in voting and returns back to paper ballots would be a powerful campaign strategy going forward. just sayin’
He’s going to be a great president.
The Feds involved are probably Leftist DOJ lawyers. It will be a good start to arrest and jail a bunch of such DOJ communist lawyers in Florida.
They could be charged, as a group, with criminal conspiracy to violate state election laws. That is NOT just trespassing.
I'm not sure these ones will be 80-year-old ladies.
... and consider that those are Democrat dominated districts. The poll workers will probably ‘welcome’ the Feds in unless DeSantis parks a Florida State Police car at each voting precinct.
