I found two T-shirts .... plain. The main shirts with something on them were the chief rival of the college that my dad, two brothers & 5 of my six nieces/nephews attended & they would have kicked me out of the family if I showed up in a rival T-shirt. The other main shirts with graphics were evidently someone who liked John Daly (golfer) & had unloaded all their shirts - examples are “John Daly Drinking Club”, shirts with John smoking & leaning on a golf club, one with his head on it ... must have been 6 all total. It was pretty funny. There was one for a motorcycle club ... tempting :-)
Aldi’s was out of B Sprouts - found some at Food Lion. Got Gouda & Parmesan, butter, bacon & heavy whipping cream at Aldi’s - good prices.
On the recipe, my experience the first time I made it was that Parmesan wasn’t that good in the sauce - didn’t want to melt well. I use something else (why I got Gouda). I’ve used cheddar in a pinch & that works pretty well. The Parmesan is fine for the topping. Your experience may be different, using Parmesan in the sauce, but I don’t like it. I also use heavy whipping cream - don’t need a ‘thickener’. That casserole is just plain yummy. Oh, if your Sprouts are big, cutting them in half works well, plus the cut side tends to absorb the sauce somewhat.
Thanks for all the tips!
