Me: “No you’re fine as long as you do all you can for me.”
I hope they ask that question to serial killers.
Leftism is a death cult. Legalizing euthanasia was the first step. Second is ‘encouraging’ people to die. Next , court issued warrants to put down the sick for the greater good of society.

I think some of that mindset is already in use within the USA. About a year ago I was in a VA hospital preparing for a somewhat routine surgery. A urinary tract procedure, one where I would be under general anesthesia for a short while. The Med. Assist. asked me if there were serious complications while 6 was under anesthesia what would I like for the Surgery Team to do? Would I like for them to make every effort to revive me?
At first I wad not certain I correctly heard her question, then I felt a slight chill as I got it.
I kept calm and said “Yes, I do wish to be revived”. I never let on how disturbing it was to be asked that for such a routine procedure.
Choosing death is all the rage right now - especially for unborn babies.
Didn’t think I’d be living any part of the movie “Soylent Green” in my lifetime.
Yeah. If life is a disease, there is only one cure.
Hey, doc...you’re gonna have to actually illustrate to me on yourself how it’s done.
Maybe Trudeau can set an example and lead the way.
Yeah—if any doc tried that pitch with me my response would be:
“If I agree I am taking you with me.”

There is nothing routine about a procedure with surgery. So they place the decision in the hands of the patient to take the pressure off the doctors for lawsuits.
Sometimes there is a greater suffering of being alive than death. As a humane society, we euthanize animals when it is obvious they are going to, or are immediately, suffering pain that is possibly to them worse than death itself. And it is not done for hatred but for caring. If that is completely acceptable to the human animal wishing it to be done, and even requested, I don’t see the difference. Both are not done from malice and why is it anyone else’s business.
Some states even make it illegal to attempt suicide while there is no crime listed for the success of it. And that success can lead to all kinds of business, property and financial determinations.
Stay out of people’s business. If they wish to close a company and put thousands out of work possibly breaking up families or causing deaths, they can. (It was done during the great depression) But they can’t consider the ramifications of their own demise over the pain they may suffer to themselves? They need to be able to make their own decisions.
