Interesting.

It’s the protestant’s who teach that if you don’t “accept Jesus” by the time you die, that’s it. You go straight to hell to be gruesomely tortured for all eternity.

Catholic doctrine does not. They believe that there is a time after death when you will face Jesus and have to make a choice. You will have FULL knowledge and COMPLETE understanding of the consequences of your choice to accept him on not.

Which one seems to be trying to motivate you by fear?

The Protestant vs Catholic argument doesn’t interest me at all. I grew up in the catholic church and went to catholic school until jr high. Whatever doctrine points you may want to make are not going to really influence me a lot in the face of what I personally experienced and what I know has happened to a lot of people.
