I was noticing the thinness, too. He was always on the thin side, but I think now he’s even thinner. AIDS & drugs will do that to ya.
Re: low energy/optimism. To me, he sounded panicked. Good. I hope he is. He should be. I think what minimal energy he has stems from fear of what’s coming: Justice.
