I understand the Amish have a problem with Halloween. That’s probably what it was.

Not quite sure what they are trying to imply by adding this statement. Is it that the police are trigger happy or that violent crime is on the rise?

Good marksmanship on the part of the cop. If I understand the situation there were a lot of people around when he fired.
This incident is like the Darrell Brooks case in Wisconsin where the cop was afraid of hitting innocent bystanders as he fired three shots at Darrell Brooks, but missing.
I think we should wait to find out if the drive had a physical episode or indented to kill people, either way the Cops response I think saved folks.

You could be right either way. I noticed that the driver slowed to make a shallow left turn onto the road that goes out of sight to the left and sped up when driving that road giving people time to clear it. He didn’t hit anyone nor does it say what on him was hit or who he is. I’m wondering if it is not another fake crime, or an escalated one in ink, just to get some type of reaction.
