$20 bucks a month is way too much, though. You could get a full streaming service for that. It’s almost like he is setting it up to fail. Or planning on offering a deal after the tantrums.

$20 is the trial balloon. Actual cost will probably be in the neighborhood of a Starbucks latte.

Haven’t a clue what this is about but if the fee applies to libs who have been using it for cover the price is too low.

Price Too Low, something I have not said in ages.

$240 is paltry for the apparent smug sniping position it apparently gets one.

It’s a great idea there’s leftist blue check professors, journalists, etc. that are literal nobodies. Thanks to their blue check status, they have had clout and reach over non-blue check accounts that do have a legitimate following.

At least make CNN and Washington Post pay for their reporters for their stupid blue check next to their profiles.

I am all in for charging a monthly fee for those things. Somebody that is willing to pay $20/mo to use a social media site deserves that checkmark. It doesn't have to be limited to celebrities, politicians, athletes, and "influencers".

That's pretty much how Gab does it. You pay a monthly or annual amount to be a validated member and you have a yellow circle around your icon as a subscriber. They also have a check mark thing. I've never even paid attention to it.Maybe I'll ask @help on gab and see if it would be worth it to mel, and even if I can. In fact, Free Republic should do this for their monthly contributors.

Not a bad idea.

I’ve made one recently too. I am waiting to see whether Trump comes back. If he does, I will follow him. If he does not, I shall delete it again.
