The Everglades are *extremely* important to the ecology of the whole state and the aquafer.
Which makes we wonder how the restoration of the Kissimmee River is coming. It also is of great importance to Florida and Everglades ecology.

Did he use a Hammer?
Was he invited into the Everglades?
Did the snakes think he was a friend?
Was there no security in the swamp?
Should we build a wall?
Enquiring major news outlets don’t want to know.

That’s nothing. I know where there are thousands of snakes. Washington DC!

In 2 weeks, they’ll lay more than enough eggs to eclipse the 28 he caught. With no natural predators, it’s breeding unleashed and uncontrolled.

That’s like about <.0003% of the total in the Glades, if you believe FWC reports.

I bet you could drive Peta-nuts wild with a hoax that when they capture the pythons, they put them in refrigerator trucks. Then when hard frozen, they feed them to wood chippers.
This all leads up to an expedition to the Everglades to “Free the Pythons”, capturing them to be returned to “The wilds of Burma” for release.
Imagine small groups of Peta-nuts slogging through the jungle while blowing duck calls to attract the snakes.

They were released when Hurricane Andrew went through and flattened a snake house...or whatever the hell they call them.
Why they had them there? I dunno.
BTW, I have heard that they fear that some very other dangerous snakes might be on the loose...no, not from Washington DC, the other kind.
Although one has to wonder which of those snakes are more Dangerous.
