Auburn fired coach Bryan Harsin on Monday following a 41-27 loss to Arkansas, putting an end to an awkward and unsuccessful tenure on The Plains. Harsin was relieved of his duties as the Tigers fell two games below .500 to 3-5 on the season with the program dropping 10 of its last 13 games and nine of its last 10 against Power Five opponents dating back to last season.

Considering how big, wealthy, and committed TAMU alumni are, if they needed to raise almost $100 MM to buyout Jimbo they can. If next season at College Station is as bad ad this season, I truly believe a Brinks armored truck escorted by the TAMU ROTC students and the Texas Rangers will drive around the state until it collects enough money. One minute after that these same people will escort Jimbo out of Texas for banishment. Next morning Jimbo’s ranch will be torched and the soil seeded with salt.
