The suspect in the attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband Paul Pelosi had a list of people he wanted to target, law enforcement sources briefed on the investigation confirmed to CBS News.
David Wayne DePape, the man accused of beating Paul Pelosi with a hammer inside his San Francisco home overnight on Friday, may have been planning to attack more people, the sources said.
They have not gone so far as to call the list a "hit list," but authorities believe the suspect may have been planning to target others, the sources said.
DePape is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday. Sources told CBS News that prosecutors are taking their time filing federal charges because DePape is in custody and no longer a threat.
The suspect allegedly broke into the couple's home around 2 a.m. on Friday, shouting "Where is Nancy?"
The suspect planned to keep Paul Pelosi tied up until the speaker got home, law enforcement sources told CBS News.
Police have not specified a motive, but said it was "not a random act."

The suspect was immediately apprehended by police and will be charged with attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, burglary and several additional felonies, according to authorities.
A CBS News review of suspected social media posts by DePape turned up conspiracy theories about Holocaust denial, pedophiles in the government, and claims that Democratic officials run child sex rings.

Neither DePape nor Pelosi will ever give testimony under oath. This case will never go to trial. When homosexual trysts go violent, the police rarely make arrests and prosecutors almost never prosecute even in cases of “homocide”. Gays don’t want police in their lives and the police are happy to leave them to their fates.
That may be because the government shills who created DePape’s web presence on Friday deleted it on Saturday.

Good grief... the statements from the police chief as directly told verbatim and live for the most part can’t be believed. And someone thinks that surreptitiously made statements from ‘law enforcement sources’ who were ‘briefed on the investigation’ to See BS can be believed?
But if they they actually saw the posts they claim they wouldn’t have immediately taken a screen shot?
I suspect DePape will never be available to journalists to answer any questions. I doubt he will make it to a trial either. Heck, he may not even make it long enough to post bail.
The police seem to be going back in time to re-write their original report to craft a narrative to support the democrat messaging.
Supposedly Depape is in the hospital. It’s never been disclosed what for.

I bet that when paul got busted for DUI, one of the two present that night were in his car.

The Supreme Court has determined that the Constitution’s mandate of a speedy trial means that a suspect must be charged within 48 hours or released.
DePape will be released all right ....after the midterms and this incident are in everyone’s rear-view mirrors.
