Why is the FBI trying so hard to keep what has been in its possession for over four years a secret?
The Epoch Times reports on the continuing efforts by the FBI to hide the contents of Seth Rich’s computer, and while I am not sure why, the reasonable assumption is that to disclose this material would, as a number of experts have long contended, prove that Mueller’s claim that the DNC computer was hacked by Russians was of a piece with the entire nonsensical and disproven claims that Russia conspired to defeat Hillary Clinton in 2016.
Since it has been several years since focus was on the murder of Seth Rich and the publication by Julian Assange of the efforts inside the DNC to see that Hillary was the party’s presidential candidate, a summary look at the details is warranted.
Seth Rich was a DNC staffer who was mysteriously murdered on July 10, 2016, in Washington, D.C. after having been shot twice in the back. None of the valuable items in his possession seem to have been stolen. That would seem to rule out robbery. He had no known enemies and the murder occurred early in the morning (4:20 a.m.) in a safe neighborhood of the city. No one was ever arrested or prosecuted for the crime. There were no known witnesses to the murder. Nor to my knowledge were any suspects ever named. Local law enforcement nevertheless suggested his murder was part of a botched robbery. Six days after the murder, Wikileaks published over 19,000 emails and 8,000 attachments from the DNC files. In November of that year, they published over 8,000 more emails from the files. The emails showed that party officials favored Clinton over rival Bernie Sanders.

Holding that information over the heads of the DNC gives extraordinary power to the FBI.

He seems to have been doing a pretty good job of that all by himself, before he ever set foot on the hammer incident.
I think they know that others with access may have downloaded it to thumbdrives as well, for "leverage", and they can't take a chance on denying it, only to have, for instance, a revolution inside the FBI from the patriots remaining who have had enough. Since then, they have made a concerted effort to dump patriots from their ranks.
And above that, the NSA servers probably have a copy—and who knows who could have purloined the contents over there? No one thought that former NSA chief Admiral Rogers would straightforwardly and within the law contact Trump and warn him that he was being bugged at Trump Tower during the 2015 campaign, but God bless Rogers, he did; and it set all this unraveling in motion.
Slowwwww motion.
This guy is just one of hundreds.>>>>>>>>
Includiong Epstein who they got to even in a federal lock up.
The Toons deserve the same, both together.
What I mean is that they are using him to smear Trump and the MAGA movement by creating fake websites and more showing him to be MAGA.
If you read the court documents linked into the article, the high tech, high powered F.I.Bee received a copy of the files on a CD.
F.I.Bee also stated in the court filing for reconsideration that it never opened an investigation in the case, nor even processed the information. That raises the questions - who decided to receive it in the agency, and why it accept receipt of the CD in the first place if they did not intend to process it, to decide whether to open an investigation? Despite the agency claiming it did nothing with the files, it is claiming the old “investigative methods” would be disclosed, and also that by disclosing the files it will irreparably harm the agency because local law enforcement will be hesitant to share information with them in the future.
To the first point, if FIBee did not open an investigation, nor process the information, seems that there are no investigative methods to disclose on those files. To the 2nd point, let say that is true ... that disclosure of the unprocessed, un-investigated files provided by local law enforcement would make local law enforcement not want to cooperate in similar ways in the future. WHose fault is that - the FIBee are the responsible party, not the FOIA requestor. It should have thought about that before it inexplicably said they would accept the file. They damaged themselves. Except they are lying.
Given what we just saw come out in the Deschenko trial, here is my take. Like putting Deschenko on the payroll while Trump was POTUS, they made him inaccessible to be a “witness”. By taking a copy of the Seth file in CD form into agency files, they put up a legal moat, to prevent the discovery what would be DNC criminal activity to which the agency is an active participant. There may be some of the DNC-FIBee agency data - spying on Trump and the Russia hoax on the CD too.
WHat we do know is the FIBee lied when a FOIA request was made in 2016 that they came up with nothing. But in a subsequent matter, an email with Seth Rich’s name in it that would have been easily discoverable by their computer search methods in 2016. Then they were forced to admit their lie but now claim that it would take at least 66 years to provide the requested information (500 pages per week). That means to me the agency has over 13 million pages related to this case. Kind of hard to miss 13 million pages.
I think it’s because the FBI knows that Hillary order him to be killed for taking the data and leaking it to Julian Assange.
It should also be noted that during an interview several weeks before the 2016 election with Assange by Ellen Ratner, then with NPR, he revealed to her that it was indeed Seth Rich who provided Wiki with the files.......
Yes, like I said, it was Arkancide.
Hillary’s theft of FBI files have paid off like a billion dollar lottery winner. Over the past 30 years she has used this blackmail anyone and everyone who those files pertained to. Think out it , politicians, judges, etc. She , over the years has a stranglehold on the FBI.
Hillary Clinton, a real O G Chicago gangsta bitch. Nobody has the balls or ability to take this bitch out, short a suicide drone, lol.
Reportedly his parents don’t care. If true, that is sad and makes one wonder.
Mary Jo Kopechne’s parents took a payoff and shut up too.
They have another son to care about.
Gold or Lead.
Wow, you’ve given this a lot of thought. What is clear is that somebody in the agency is lying, bigly.
Why isn’t Hillary in prison? Why? (I know!)
No she’s not that stoopid to put that in writing, in an email.
My theory would be that some of the emails in Rich’s file were deleted by HRC who was under subpoena because they were classified, on her server, they were on Rich’s laptop, and not about “yoga”. It is also possible that some of the emails link HRC and/or the DNC to Deschenko, the Russian hoax, etc. And the FIB new it was a hoax in 2016. They needed to cover for all their bosses who perjured themselves on the FISA warrant. The strategy now is to first run out the statute of limitations, followed by put this issue so far out into the future that when if/when the truth comes to light, there are no consequences.
There may be other emails though that make it clear he was the one who secreted the data out and provided it to Assange. Further looking into the matter they came up with other evidence, not on Seth Rich's laptop, that implicated her in the killing of Seth.
The laptop confirms he was behind the data theft, which starts investigators seriously looking at the most obvious suspect in the death of Seth.
However, you could be right about what you said. Only we never saw them. Which would mean Assnage never released them, so maybe not.
But honestly, my post was in jest, even though I believe it to be true, because I have zero proof to confirm my beliefs. 🙂
Yes
Seth Rich followup.
C'mon FReepers, this was obviously suicide .. just move along now.
