I'm one of the "dumb hillbillies" who has a PhD in biology, who worked for a number of years translating, abstracting, and evaluating scientific article in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean for for the federal government and who now, reading the literature on the subject, think that we are being lied to by our government. Anyone who challenges the left is dismissed as a dumb hillbilly. I come from a scientific family. My brother had a PhD in science. My wife has a PhD in a science. My grandfather managed a government research station. I weep to see "science" (that I had always held in reverence) polluted by politics.
