Vince Dooley, legendary Georgia football coach and athletic director, passes away at 90
RIP Coach, from this Gator.
Go Gators!
This should help to rekindle warm memories of Hershel Walker in Georgia.
RIP whoever plays Georgia tomorrow
That would be us.
Vince Dooley did at least one campaign commercial for Hershel shortly before he died. It is very good.
lol
Rest in peace, good sir. From a Bammer.
RIP Coach Dooley, from a LSU alum.
I came here to ask/say that.

Coach Dooley was a longtime historical preservationist and a longtime board member of The American Battlefield Trust (formerly The Civil War Trust). He faithfully attended every annual conference, though I don’t recall him ever standing up and making a speech.
Coach Dooley made time to take a couple of horticulture classes at UGA, and then one thing led to another, and before long there was a small plot on campus known as Coach Dooley’s Garden.
So one has heard, anyway.
Go with God, Coach.
IIRC he promised to shave his head if Georgia won the National Championship, and he did.
RIP to a legendary coach and a class act.
Dems will probably call the timing a dirty trick to help Walker’s campaign!
