I am very sad that I didn’t find any morels on my property this past Spring. I wish I had a reliable stash, but I guess there are a lot of factors that go into them popping up.

Years ago my grandparents had a wooded area on their land that never grew morels. I think the soil was too sandy, but I’ll never know.
