Ms. Naomi Wolf is enjoying seeing her “false piety” in print.
Her “largesse” is simply pablum and sees herself as a much nobler human than anyone who reads this article.
She asks:
“Will you apologize, if you did wrong?
Will you forgive, if you were wronged?”
There is a system here.

For The Pure Bloods, we are still waiting for that first step BEFORE we make a decision of conscience.
While preaching forgiveness from the pulpit, has your pastor/priest apologized to you for taking away The Church from you and the rest of the congregation?
Those 2 hours every Sunday when you get to sit and talk intimately to God?
Or, do they explain it away as “rendering unto Ceasar”?
I am grateful for our return to worship and cheerfully attend holding no grudge.
God was there waiting for me, even when we didn’t hold services.
I, among others, can forgive once the offenders realize the damage they caused.
I refuse to help them see it as long as they continue to excuse it away.
Naomi is so pretty.. and I think a throwback to my own image of the useless, classic hippie.
That hippy image of mine is perhaos too stereotypical, but it’s one filled with those who lived life behind a pair of rose colored Liberal glasses; peace, free love, music and smoke, academies, and in no small number from a measure of urban privilege.
Still, longing for a world
draped in pleasant pink, Naomi has come smack up against world Reality, mankind and strife, eclipse and precipice, mostly sounding lost and disallusioned, but hoping it sounds virtuous.
PS: My antenna detected her possible hat tip to Steve Bannon. They have a certain respect for one another.
She referred to something in that essay, saying... “as counting the Rosary beads”. (PP badly).
Idk, but I think she is not Catholic and may or may not be churched at all, while Steve is one proudly and active Catholic, here and abroad.
Maybe may be impressed that Steve keeps his background mantle, seen over his right shoulder, with framed pictures of Jesus and Mary, especially now, when the captured Vatican is host to open apostasy.
Just a data point, as they say. Idk.
