GABA is present in some fermented foods, including kimchi, miso and tempeh. It's also found in green, black and oolong tea.

We use this for anxiety. During sleep, it facilitates the production of Human Growth Hormone and facilitates healing.

Research was a long time ago, but, IIRC, it should not be used for long periods or at high dosages.

The brand we have is 750 mg and we take one before bed. Usually don’t need it for a prolonged period, but we limit to no more than 3 consecutive days.

Used it for years and never had a bad reaction or any side effects I’m aware of.
