Vladimir Putin is facing a serious political mutiny, after Bashkiri nationalists called for independence from Russia. The demand for independence poses a threat to Russia's territorial integrity and could encourage other rebellious regions to follow suit. The Bashkirs are one of the 193 ethics minorities that populate Russia and are of Kipchak Turkic descent.

hey have their own autonomous republic in Russia, called Bashkortostan, which is located between the Volga River and the Ural Mountains in the east of the country.

There are roughly four million Bashkirs living in Bashkortostan, making it the seventh most populous republic in Russia.

Nationalist activists from the republic sent shockwaves through the Kremlin after announcing the creation of their own army.

The nationalists said they intend to fight for a "free Bashkortostan", as they seek independence from Moscow.

The move appears to have been prompted by Putin's decision to invade Ukraine, which has created tensions between the Kremlin and ethnic groups.

This is due to the fact that ethnic minorities in Russia have borne the brunt of the Kremlin's military recruitment drives for the war and suffered significant losses in the process.

Ruslan Gabbasov, a nationalist leader, told the the media publication Verstka that Putin's war in Ukraine had nothing to do with Bashkir.

The 43-year-old said: "It is not our war. Ukrainians have never done anything bad to us, but the empire has always suppressed us.

"They suppressed our native language, they imprisoned our leaders.

"Why should we now have to fight for them?"

When Putin announced his "partial mobilisation" on September 21, an anonymous channel called the “Committee of the Bashkir Resistance” was created on the social media platform Telegram.

Its cover depicts a clenched fist on a red background, with a caption under it saying: "Bashkortostan will be free!"

The administrators wrote in their first post that the channel was "created to organise national resistance in Bashkortostan against Putin's power".

They vowed that there would be "no mobilisation" in a free Bashkortostan.

Mr Gabbasov said he knew the creators of the "partisan" Telegram channel.

He said: "These are real people who are directly related to Bashkortostan."

Since the appearance of the group, there have have been a number of attacks on government buildings.

Bashkirs have served the Russian state since at least the Napoleonic wars. Contigents of them accompanied the Cossacks into Europe, in the campaigns of 1812, 1813 and 1814.

Yeah, at best $3 billion a month...
However, I have read reports estimating that a fully functional Kyiv government needs $3-7 billion, and truth be told, it’s probably close to $6-7 billion a month needed....war and the costs of war are not cheap.

kiryandil, this is sad and scary at the same time. These folks who are pushing to destabilize Russia are doing the bidding of China.

Quick history question

Why do we even have a country called Russia?

If you answered it was a reaction to the Mongol Hoards” you’d be correct.

Next question

What does China/CCP need to dominate the world?

If you answered “the resources in eastern Aisa” you’d be correct again.

Next question

What keeps China from taking the resources they need to dominate the world?

If you answered “Russian Nukes” you are on a roll.

Bonus questions

What happens if Russia is destabilized and loses the ability to threaten China with nukes?

Is there any other country that would actually nuke China if they invaded Russia?

I realize that this article is propaganda, but the scary part is... If the West actually topples Russia, then China will invade Russia, take the resources it needs and destroy Western Civilization... (That said, if we are castrating our children and ripping off the breast off our little girls...then is western civ worth saving, I mean heck, it feels like we have both middle fingers up to God.)

I agree. Ukraine's endless dependence on everyone and nation but themselves is beyond nauseating.

You’re of course joking - otherwise you’re dreaming if you don’t think Ukraine will continue to strip our country of monetary assets and otherwise as they’ve done already.

Never mind about Putin’s problem...wth is China doing while we all stand here looking at Ukraine/Putin?

We had better adjust our attention toward those who REALLY WANT US DEAD...instead of those who MAY want us dead.

Is this something like WAG THE DOG WHILE SOMETHING BIG IS HAPPENING.

There is a LOT of money in frozen financial and real assets.
Who is kidding?
Ukraine is due huge reparations from Russia.
Much easier to take it from assets already in the hands of its friends.

This is a cost of Russias policy, official and unofficial, of keeping so much of its national wealth abroad. This massive capital flight was a huge weakness. A healthy society would have invested all this in Russia.

China wants Taiwan.
China also is in the middle of an economic disaster. Capital flight is at record levels, consumer spending is down double digits this year.
China is in the middle of, or just got done with, a major power struggle.

What will come of all this, who knows.

While nothing more than rather low grade propaganda similar to the British constant meme in world war 1 that Wilhelm II was about to die, this does reveal what the borderless world globlist do want to achieve which is the liquidation of Russia by breaking it into a number of contending successor states which can be gradually absorbed into the global regime.

Nobody “Owes” Ukraine anything whatsoever. Just the opposite and they've always been a welfare/debtor nation.

I have and will never support reparations of any kind under any circumstances. Ukraine chose to leave the negotiation tables time and again and they knew they werer gearing up and stalling for further battles they expected. ... Willingly putting their people and their nations life on the line for a conflict they could never win........bad decisions bring bad results.....and here they are with a nation full of rusted militarily equipment, buildings , infastructures and communities gone, and fathers, uncles and sons never coming home.

THIS?

Vladimir Putin suffered a coughing fit and experienced chest pains when trying to record his extraordinary TV broadcast, it is claimed.

Rumours from the Kremlin suggest doctors were called to the Russian President amid behind the scenes chaos that saw his address on the escalations of the bloody Ukraine war delayed by 13 hours.

Adding to the delay was said to be objections raised by key Kremlin figures who are believed to have disagreed with the warmonger’s decision to partially mobilise the Russian people in his faltering invasion.

Putin, who is 70 next month, began preparations for his speech to the Russian nation on Tuesday night, but it was delayed without explanation

Now the General SVR Telegram channel has claimed: “Several attempts to start recording an appeal were frustrated due to coughing.”

The brute also announced that he had signed a decree stating that Russian reservists will be conscripted into Russia’s military from Wednesday, which is Russia’s first mobilisation since World War Two.

“THERE IS AN OPINION OF PEOPLE FROM THE PRESIDENT’S INNER CIRCLE THAT PUTIN FEIGNED A HEALTH PROBLEM IN ORDER TO RESCHEDULE FILMING AND RETHINK HIS DECISION-MAKING”, the Channel claimed.

It continued: “The doctors advised to postpone the shooting and leave with them for examination, which was done.

“People close to the president know his PATHOLOGICAL INDECISION and uncertainty in making decisions, especially key ones.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin makes an address announcing a partial mobilisation

Three key figures threatened to resign last night over his mobilisation decision, it has also been reported.

They include respected Elvira Nabiullina, head of the Russian central bank who has been crucial to keeping the economy afloat amid Western sanctions, it is claimed.

Two other top officials who reportedly threatened to resign were not named.

One account said: “Putin was informed about the unrest in the elites and ‘quiet panic’ in most of the establishment” over his mobilitation move.

His top political and security officials reportedly “met the president’s decision WITHOUT enthusiasm”.

Putin was informed of this by his security council secretary Nikolai Patrushev, said the Telegram channel which had predicted the mobilisation move by the warmonger president.

Putin says the aim of the West is to ‘weaken and destroy’

It is thought Putin will now privately confront Nabiullina - who would be a major loss if she quit.

“The terminally ill Putin has an overwhelming desire to take millions of people to the grave with him,” the Channel continued, “Today Putin has brought war into every Russian’s home.”

Bus tickets out of the country were sold out on Wednesday as well as flights from Moscow to Istanbul as Russians fear being conscripted or imprisoned if they do not obey orders.

Defence minister Sergei Shoigu announced that 300,000 reservists will be called up.

He also gave what will be widely seen as fictitious statistics on Russia’s war dead at 5,937 - ten times fewer than many conservative expert estimates.

The palpably bogus figure was even disputed today by uber-loyalist Russian pro-war bloggers.
