Heartbreak for North Texas.
SEC East is usually the stronger division. Like I said, not a Lane Kiffin fan. So whatever team he coaches, I root against him. He’s in my Bobby Bowden, Phil Fulmer Hate Club (which includes Georgia no matter the coach, for all time). A week or so ago, I had forgotten that he was hired by Ole Miss, so I was briefly pulling for them. Then my sweet husband reminded me. So they are dead to me. I’m not pulling for LSU, however, they did beat our Gators a week ago, so maybe we move up even with the loss?? I mean, if you lose to a really good team, are you the low man on the totem pole, or somewhere in between? Or was LSU not ranked when they played the Gators?
LSU plays Bama in a couple of weeks at LSU. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Oh, I’m sorry to hear this. My condolences.
The good news is now we know the 3 losses we’ve gotten this year were against better teams, although Kentucky was disappointing. But we gave Tennessee a game, so maybe we are a little bit better than I thought.
I think we can give Georgia a four-quarter game.
Our daughter was a big football fan when she was in HS. Her class went to the state finals their junior and senior year. They won their senior year.
Three of those boys went to USAFA, so we became fans of the Falcons for a while. They were pretty good when the boys were there. I have a screenshot of one them delivering a blistering tackle to none other than Andy Dalton when he played for TCU. I was at that game with her (in Fort Worth), and why it’s such a great photo for me to have.
So I completely understand the disappointment that happens for our kids’ teams.
Goodness, I hope so! Gooo Gators!!
Is anybody out there watching the Minnesota @ Penn State game?
Nittany Lions beating the Gophers with a White Out the Night stadium, 17-10 at halftime.
Fortunately listening to Tom Petty’s live anthology on vinyl while the tv is muted. There are times where this is my preferred way of watching college football. Thank you, Mr. FF!
Oregon has the best team it has ever had.
That’s always fun for a longtime fan, to see their team play so well.
I wonder if they played Georgia again, how it would turn out.
About the same; Georgia knows how to beat Bo Nix. The Pac-12, not so much.
Well teams can improve a lot from their first game, see LSU.
Perhaps, but Nix has not performed well against Georgia.
I think Weber State needs to find a new deep snapper....

Wow! That’s really something!
