Just yesterday, former Trump adviser and campaign strategist Steve Bannon was sentenced to four months in jail following his conviction on two counts of criminal contempt of Congress. Bannon was ordered to pay a fine of $6,500.
Bannon was subpoenaed by the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 incident for records and testimony in September of last year.
However, Bannon defied a subpoena and refused to comply with the House committee.
Biden’s Justice Department recommended that Bannon serve six months behind bars and pay a $200,000 fine.
Federal district court Judge Carl Nichols who rendered his judgment, said Bannon had shown “no remorse for his actions” and “has yet to demonstrate he has any intention of complying with the subpoena.”
However, Judge Nichols also said that Bannon did have ample grounds for appeal. Hence Bannon was released while any appeal to the sentence is resolved.
Bannon said he respected the judge's decision but rightly denied any criminal wrongdoing. Bannon’s attorney confirmed he would be filing a notice of appeal.
Hours after Bannon was sentenced, President Trump was formally issued a subpoena from the January 6 panel, ordering him to testify before lawmakers about the Capitol riot.
Liberals reacted the way they always do, with obscene glee.

We have contempt of Congress, contempt of the Obama-Biden warmongering, contempt for the massive debt increasing yearly without, and a special contempt for the J6 committee and its contempt for civil rights and equal treatment under the law for all.
And what about Ray Epps? And Hunter Biden's laptop? And the promotion of transsexual themes? And the election fraud, which is being shown in many small ways? And the fomenting of race hatred by the Democrats? So much contempt. If the Democrats could make all this "criminal" contempt, they would. With RINOs help.
Democrats have to be defunded and the quickest way is to drown them in a red tsunami in November.
The point is to keep Trump from running. Everything they do is for that reason.
Put another way, it is to prevent the people from selecting the President of their choice. If the voters are allowed to vote for whomever they want, they will elect Trump.
Bannon got four months. LOL! That’s just the RAT way of saying Bannon didn’t do anything wrong. They just wanted to drag him through their RAT feces because he wasn’t a DemonRAT bowing down to them and kissing their feet. Bannon is the winner here. He showed them he wasn’t going to play their childish games. Putting him in jail for a few weeks makes them feel like superior, POS big shots. Political supremacy. Big Liberalism in action. Americans need to teach these far-left bastards who they work for.

That’s what this is, more accurately. It’s to prevent Americans from having the choice to elect Trump again. These scam artists are all about democracy and the people until the people don’t choose one of them because they are outraged at the poor track record of the elite political class in getting things done and governing the nation. The border and an orderly legal immigration process is non negotiable. It should be for any sovereign nation. Covid should have taught everyone the national security risks of over-dependence on out sourcing.
Despite this thing being political as hell and lacks equality under the law, consider how fast this happened. From the time the fake J6 committee sent the DOJ the obstruction info to the DOJ acted and the trial was held and Bannon sentenced was what 6 to 8 months? Our legal system normally doesn’t work that fast. The speed just shows how corrupt and political the DC legal system is from the J6 to FBI to DOJ to the so called political judges. Had this been a democrat and if there was even a charge the process would have been drawn out for years.
Appeal will fail as it will end up in front of an Obama judge.
