Lawyers for Sandy Hook families, who were recently awarded a billion dollar compensatory judgment against radio host Alex Jones, are now seeking the “highest possible“ amount in punitive damages totaling $2.75 trillion in hopes to take Jones off the air forever.
The cartoonishly large amount, which supposedly factors in 550 million “social media exposures” that Infowars would have generated on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook in the three years following the mass shooting and multiplies it by $5,000, was reported by Bloomberg News Friday.
Sandy Hook families asked a Connecticut judge to order Alex Jones to pay $2.75 trillion in damages in addition to the almost $1 billion a jury awarded for defamation, claiming only “the highest possible punitive damages,” will stop the Infowars host from continuing to harm them.
The families said they’re entitled to the amount because Jones broke a state law barring the sale of products using false statements. They reached the sum by multiplying the state law’s $5,000 per-violation fine by the 550 million social media exposures Jones’s audience received on his Facebook, YouTube and Twitter accounts in the three years following a school shooting that claimed the lives of 20 first graders and six educators in 2012.

It is somewhat telling that out of 26 victims only 8 families and a first responding FBI are involved in this farce. As just one example of the absurdity of this “trial”, the fibbie, who lost no one, and was never named by Jones, was awarded 90 million.
That wuss is a pretty bad actor. All of them were bad actors.
Why not 31 trillion? The judicial system has gone insane.
Hint: If anyone says anything in the whole wide world it is either opinion or conjecture.
Since we all have the First Amendment nothing is actionable unless it equates to the proverbial falsely yelling fire in a theater causing people to die.
If you don't understand that, go soak your head for a few minutes.
Jones should buy a $100 trillion Zimbabwe note on EBay, and announce his capitulation on the courthouse steps…and then tell the asswioe plaintiffs snd their lawyers to keep the change. It will demonstrate what a mockery of our system this whole charade is.

Knowing how these families are grifting now, it almost makes you wonder if AJ wasn’t right in the first place. Maybe the Sandy Hook event WAS a scam all the time.
Accept a few thousand bucks from the FBI to help create a false flag event to push gun control. Then continue to double down on the lie. Mo’ money! Mo’ money.
If course, the revered FBI never would participate in a false flag event; that never happens.

He does not. And the left putting that out there for all the world to see is telling us that we don’t, either.
And that’s just in the context of living our lives every day. In AJ’s kangaroo court the judge gave instructions that he wasn’t permitted to defend himself. He wasn’t allowed to even say he was innocent.
This is supposed to be a teachable moment for us. We must pay attention to our overlords.

The more I hear about this the more I wish that it was *the family members* who were killed rather than the people who actually were.

There’s something very suspicious about the whole Sandy Hook narrative. I tend to believe Alex Jones more than the harpies.
Alex should move to Zimbabwe. 20 bucks will go long way paying off these grifters.
