I am glad that I was a part of a dating scene when girls had the capacity to blush and feel shame. And, they dressed like girls. I held the door open, pulled the chair out and behaved like a gentleman.
Today is just to confusing.
It’s a mixed-up muddled-up shook up world.
"Everywhere is freaks and hairies,
Dykes and fairies, tell me where is sanity?"
I see many feminized men in marriages Being a man is toxic according to the current culture. Women want both to be “equal” but also the deference and extra consideration and power that chivalry gave them over men. They want their cake and to eat it too. Men don’t know how to be. Boys being boys are toxic, demonized. Women are elevated in film, television, all media really. Men are buffoons, ignorant, lazy, thoughtless and wrong headed. There are analysis of advertising showing these portrayals. We’re in an era where women have decided men should be women too and either can be pregnant persons.
Feminism long ago abandoned equal opportunity and respect in favor of toxic dominance and control. People joke about incels and men going their own way movements but the Left are not asking themselves why are they creating these cultural shifts. They blame the men instead. We move further and further from conversations and into echo chambers. I already know how to be one of me—been me all my life. I need contrast and inspiration and some challenge in a relationship. There’s none negotiable values of faith, integrity and fidelity but there’s a wide spectrum of variety who holds similar values. On the other hand they’re getting harder and harder to find.
The old rules weren’t perfect - but they set boundaries and expectations.
That’s what’s missing today.
A man comes into a relationship after watching hours of cheap porn flicks and a women comes in after watching ME TOO revenge spin offs...
It’s not the ‘perfect person’ that matters - it’s how two people relate, support and love each other.
its the "Friends" syndrome and throw in the "barbie" syndrome...
on Friends, young men and women living a dream life with apparently plenty of time and money and the guys are just so "nice"....
the "barbie" syndrome....almost no women look like that except those that get enhancements and enhancements, whether to your face or body need to be redone after a few yrs for your whole dang life....
people have to learn to love and appreciate the boy or girl nextdoor...
