Banks will not be bailed out. They will be
bailed-in using your money. Banks are already starting to
collapse around us. The fractional banking system
is a complete joke. It is at zero right now and
your money is not safe.

Not watching the video, but let me guess: I should convert all of my cash to gold and bury it in the back yard.

To start panicking people with nonsense like this vid, is a good way to end with a bail in.
The banks are not failing.

All the way back in 1987, the regulatory agency that handles banks enacted Emergency Banking Regulation #1 (EBR-1) that authorizes and facilitates bail-ins. This is not new.
As far as gold goes, the executive orders and laws that facilitated the nationalization of gold in 1933 are all still on the books.

I’m not saying 250k is not a lot of money, it is. But someone who made their money the old fashioned way by earning it can accumulate that much. So you’re suppose to use multiple banks to insure your money?
How many billions have we sent to Ukraine?

If not failing, they are being demolished.
In the past few years strange happenings at our financial
institutions. Withdrawing your money? They ask what do you
plan to do with this? Can't say it didn't happen. They did it at to us at our bank. Unable to consider a deposit ‘your money’ for days. Until that deposited check has been cleared
and verified. Again, my bank. Have yet to discuss the banks
no longer taking money orders or cash as we never deposit money orders. Take the blinders off, man. Wake up or lose
what you've got.

I’ve been doing a few wire transfers to a bank when the CD rates are much better. On the transfer form on the bank I transferring from is the question, “Reason for withdrawal”.

That’s your choice. Needless to say ‘the government’ is
unable to insure much of anything these days other than their
assurance they will tax us to death or just out and out pick
our pockets to make their payrolls.

Well, any asset or commodity, has its price, in fiat money. Unless you want to barter other goods and services to acquire gold, you will be paying in fiat money.
Heck, the guys who sell you the gold, may well take your fiat money and buy some other tangible assets, such as real estate, rather than holding onto fiat money.
To: V K Lee
The problem is that if the banks fail they will take the world economy with them.
At that point we are talking third world barter—everywhere—and there will be no “safe haven” anywhere.
That is my issue with gold—if everything hits the fan there will be no gold market.
Gold is best in a period of high inflation that is not bad enough to crash the entire economy—that is a “goldilocks” outcome that is fairly unlikely over the medium or long term.

I hear ya’. Purpose for this post was for sharing info only.
Attempting to share information to those who might be as dim
as I when it comes to economy. Still hesitant re crypto and the newest way to ‘bank’, gold/silver are only worn as jewelry. Stocks and bonds= s/m That leaves a choice (for me)
of banks and credit unions. Best wishes for good decisions

Mine have been off since 1973.
When I withdraw large sums at my bank, I tell the teller I am going gamble, to have a lot of sex and stay drunk.
No more comments from them. From my appearance, they know.

The same could be said of people that sell ice cream.
I mean, which would you rather have, a depreciating dollar or ice cream.
I know which one I want.
