I closed my 20 y/o PayPal account a few days ago....took 24 hours to “finalize” & close (didn’t have $$ in the account at the time of closure)...but no other issues closing it. My Venmo (owned by PalPal) account is next.

Drago, may I ask how did you close it out?

I had a paypal credit card linked to my paypal account but paid off the balance and closed the cc account a year ago. I still have a paypal account though. When I log in I don’t see an easy option to close it out.

I had my PayPal account since 2005 and closed it last Saturday.

closed my PP acct a couple weeks ago as soon as I heard/read about the “wrongthink fine”.
