Their very young son got Corona and it came on so fast and furious they had to send him to the hospital in an ambulance?

“If I were the unvaccinated grandpa baby’s first Christmas present would be a .22. Just ask my kids.”
And it will last a lifetime, if taken care of properly. A hand-knit sweater? The kid will grow out of it in four months.

The baby has a better chance of becoming ill in the hospital by catching something from the doctors or staff, or germs in the hospital, than it does from grandma and grandpa. My sister was in the hospital recently because of dehydration, and low sodium and potassium. That was treated successfully but the staph infection she got while there nearly killed her.

I have to say it’s her baby, her rules.
They may be STUPID rules, but they probably make a lot of stupid decisions.

I feel bad for any relatives or children of this neurotic woman. Shame the kid can’t abort the parent.

"When I delivered our son, before the pandemic, there were no restrictions on visitors at our hospital, and any required and routine vaccinations were not an issue,
despite known political differences among our family members." Sounds like there was already an underlying issue before Covid. Covid just brought the stressline to the surface.

End of your line then.
I am trying to think of a time where the world was awesome for all. Nope can’t.

Look Moron, you must “trust the science” since you want everyone to subject themselves to a experimental gene therapy that doesn’t work. Do you really think a hospital would allow non-injected people around new borns if it wasn’t safe? Hospitals are science for pea-brains like you when you need an argument to compel others to do something against their will. So what’s wrong with your “science” now?
You need an education that includes critical thinking. You need to be informed about what these injections have really done and not done. But go ahead and piss off your in-laws. See if they are there to help when you need them. Your family is more important than your stupid ass virtue signaling, because it isn’t science.
Sincerely,
Mr. No-manners

I’ve long thought that the letters that are actually published are written by the advice columnist themselves. There must be some new coordination to get people to take these shots.

That would be a very petty grandparent. The grandchild has no say in the matter. This mom has already been through COVID with her son. It’s natural that she’s afraid for her baby, even though babies are in one of the least risky groups. Her son is probably also in a less risky age group, but he managed to contract it anyway. COVID isn’t a black and white situation. To vaccinate or not to vaccinate, it’s all a gamble. There are no guarantees either way.

All the people we know who have come down with Covid multiple times have been vaxed and boosted. We do not like to be in close proximity to vaccinated people. They are the ones who will likely get you sick. The vaccinated are the “super-spreaders”. Eventually this will come out.

So how did the unwashed unvaxxed manage to avoid contracting the dreaded sniffles for so long despite not being totally anal about stuff like masks or dousing their hands with alcohol every 5 minutes or social distancing. This is an excellent question and kind of calls into doubt much of what we've been told about this dreaded global pandemic. Remember early on when the news reported people dropping dead on the streets of Wuhan and Chinese funeral pyres you could see from space?
