That's a lie.
The trial was focused on assessing ONE thing: PREVENTION. Words have meaning. From the referenced FDA press release:
Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued the first emergency use authorization (EUA) for a vaccine for the prevention of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in individuals 16 years of age and older. (Emphasis added)
From the referenced Pfizer documentation:

The BNT162 RNA-based COVID-19 vaccines are currently being investigated for prevention of COVID-19 in healthy individuals.(emphasis added)
These shots were NOT authorized to lessen symptoms, to keep people out of the hospital or morgue, or make them pretty.
The objective function of the testing and statistical metrics was PREVENTION. And these shots can't even succeed at that without continuous boosting, which seems to bring with it Nasty Side Effects.
