The Swedish Democrats, an insurgent far-right party, has suspended one of their lawmakers from her post in the party and their TV station, according to the Swedish paper Aftonbladet, after she sexualised Anne Frank’s diary, dubbing the Holocaust victim as “immoral” in an Instagram post.
The newly-elected Rebecka Fallenkvist posted a picture of Anne Frank’s The Diary of a Young Girl, one of the most widely read books about the Holocaust, saying that “50 pages in and so far Anne Frank has only struck me as immoral. Horniness itself.”
After the Swedish Democrats secured 11 seats to become the Riksgag’s second largest party, Fallenkvist also drunkenly greeted a victory rally with the Swedish equivalent of the Nazi greeting Sieg Heil. Her party have since signed a deal to back the government from the outside.
Israel’s ambassador to Sweden Ziv Nevo Kulman, who has been unusually outspoken in his criticism of the populist party, took to Twitter to condemn the “despicable insult,” while the Jewish Youth Association described the post as “incredibly disgusting and tasteless.”

I have heard there is a ‘dirty’ version pf Anne Frank’s Diary available to the public. Why someone would do that: use the Frank Diary to create something purposely vulgar, I can only think it is to disrespect anyone who is Jewish or anyone who is a compassionate human being.
The Diary did get kind of polluted by her dad I think

The Sweden Democrats help support the new government in Sweden so anyone associated with that party needs to be discredited and destroyed.
The “dirty” version is the unabridged version.
You have a teen girl cooped up in an attic for a long time. She’s going to write her fantasies into her diary. They removed those parts for the version that school kids read.
IIRC Otto Frank ordered those parts removed.
The Left is trying very hard to attack the Sweden Democrats.
The Sweden Democrats are the only party openly against unlimited Muslim immigration.
Just a clarification/correction: Ms Fallenkvist was not voted into the Swedish Parliament. She is one of 15 representatives elected for the Swedish Democrats in Region Stockholm (”local council”).
She is obviously an idiot, but unlike other parties the Swedish Democrats have immediately started an investigation, and she may well be asked to leave the SD (though she cannot be removed from her elected position).
Other parties (social democrats, the Left party, the Center party, even the conservatives) have had members of parliament (usually of ME origin) who’ve been as or even more outspokenly antisemitic, and basically nothing has happened to them. Not that Ha’aretz ever would notice.

I had to google that to understand what the heck you meant. The reason we probably bow to the horror of the Holocaust more than Europeans was that our American Army bore witness to the crimes against humanity. In addition, a vast number of survivors came here and their relatives still bear witness amoung us even to the Ukrainian part in its willing participation as NAZI guards in the death camps.
Also because even before Hitler, anti-Semitism was the European National Pastime.
