I’m on two prescriptions and still will often need a shot of Pepto and a Zantac in the middle of the night.
It has affected my vocal cords now so it starting to piss me off!

GERD leads to Barrett’s Esophagus which leads to esophageal cancer which has about a 20% 5 year survival rate. The surgery for an esophagectomy is a really big deal, requiring the surgeon to go through your back and through your belly. Mine took 11 hours. There is another technique that goes down behind the heart via the neck and works the front through a ten inch incision through your belly.
You don’t want esophageal cancer. Do whatever you need to do to deal with the GERD and stop the erosion. And involve a gastrointerologist and take real medicines.
